Mario Rossi is an Italian artist based in Rome, working with constructed photography.
Across all his work, he investigates the instability of visual perception. Whether through the layered construction of urban space in SynchroCity, the chromatic transformation of landscape in Soul Land, or the dissolution of architecture into fluid form in Riflessi in Laguna, his practice consistently questions the boundary between what is seen and what is felt. Photography becomes not a record of reality, but a tool for revealing the shifting, uncertain nature of our experience of it.
His works are included in international collections, including the Bibliothèque Nationale de France and the University of the Arts, Philadelphia.
