Nato a Napoli nel 1961, ora vivo a Roma che considero il punto di partenza e di ritorno per ogni mia attività. Mi occupo di fotografia dalla fine degli anni settanta, quando iniziai appunto da questa città  l'esplorazione del mondo circostante. Il mio punto di vista sulla fotografia risente di una visione “pittorica” dello spazio derivata dai miei studi e dall’interesse per la tradizione moderna degli “ismi” astratto-figurativi delle avanguardie artistiche dei primi anni del Novecento. L'attenzione per la geometria è senz’altro un aspetto importante della mia ricerca.

"Lo studio della costante, del ritmo, della ripetizione nella realtà osservata è all’origine della volontà di rappresentarla. Forme e tracce reiterate sono elementi che rivelano una sensibilità matematica e musicale. La composizione è ordinata secondo uno schema che produce armonia e rimanda ad una partitura sinfonica di luci e figure frammezzate a brandelli di storie colte dallo sguardo analitico che sintetizza il tutto in ricercate coreografie". Ho esposto in molte gallerie fra Roma, Milano, Venezia, Firenze, Lecce, Napoli, Amsterdam, Parigi, Londra, New York, Filadelfia, Berlino, Dubai e Miami. L'opera Travellers #1 è presente nelle collezioni pubbliche dell'Università delle Arti di Filadelfia e della Biblioteca di Francia. Sono rappresentato dalle gallerie HamburgKennedy di New York, The CAMP Gallery di Miami, Chiefs&Spirits dell'Aja e InarteGallery di Bergamo. I was born in Naples (Italy) in 1961 and now I live in Rome  the city  that I set off from  and the city I go back to. I’m involved in photography since the late seventies years gradually supporting the need for deeper search for a language to identify with.

My point of view is influenced by my painterly vision of a place, which I transform into a photograph. This interpretation derives from my personal study of the modern tradition of the abstract-figurative -isms” typical of the early twentieth-century avant-garde movements in the arts.

Geometry is certainly an important aspect of my research.
